RoRo sailings from Yokohama, Kawasaki, Kisarazu, Nagoya and Kobe to Jacksonville, Brunswick, Baltimore, Newark, Newport News, Galveston, Freeport, Los Angeles, San Diego, Tacoma and Honolulu. Container shipping on request.
What is included
Ocean freight, US customs entry and clearance, document fees on both sides, translation of the Japanese documents, US port charges and unloading, yard inspection and photos in Japan, and total-loss insurance while at sea. Full-risk insurance is optional (1.5% of vehicle plus freight, minimum $225).
What is not included
Import duties (shown separately in the calculator), transport inside the US beyond the port metro area, towing for non-running vehicles, storage caused by late payment or late pickup, and any customs exam or agricultural wash ordered at the border.
Transit time
Typically 1 to 3 weeks in Japan after the auction, 3 to 6 weeks at sea, 3 to 10 days for customs, then delivery. Vessel schedules change; dates are estimates.
