Terms of use

Version of October 13, 2026. These short terms apply until our full Terms of Service are published; we will ask you to accept the full version before your next bid.

1. Who we are

Unsato Auto Import, Holiday, Florida, helps US buyers purchase vehicles at Japanese auctions and from Japanese dealers and brings them to the United States. At auctions we act as your buying agent: the auction house or dealer is the seller, and we bid and buy on your instruction.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older and give your real name and contact details. One account per person. You are responsible for what is done under your login. We serve buyers in the United States; other countries only by written agreement.

3. Vehicle information

Photos, auction sheets, grades, mileage, years, translations and statistics come from the auction houses, dealers and data providers. We show them as received and check what we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee they are complete or correct. Auction vehicles are sold as-is, without warranty, and cannot be inspected or test-driven before the sale.

4. Bids and deposits

A bid is your instruction to buy the vehicle for up to your maximum. To bid, we hold a deposit from your account balance (shown on the lot page before you bid). You can change or cancel a bid until our agent places it. If the bid wins, the purchase is final: the auction house does not cancel sales. If it does not win, the deposit hold is released. If you do not pay for a vehicle you won, the deposit covers our losses and the costs of reselling it.

5. Prices and estimates

The landed price on each lot is an estimate built from current rates and exchange rate. We keep your invoice to the price you saw: our fee, freight and Japan-side costs stay as quoted once you win. US duties and port fees are confirmed by US customs when the vehicle arrives and are passed on at cost.

6. Payment

After a win, the invoice and payment instructions appear in your account. The balance is due before the vehicle reaches the US port. Late payment can add storage and port charges, which are yours.

7. Shipping, customs and eligibility

Transit times are estimates; vessel schedules, customs exams and port congestion can delay delivery. A vehicle imported under the 25-year rule must be at least 25 years old to the month of manufacture. Registration and titling in your state are your responsibility; we provide the export and customs documents your state needs.

8. Liability

We are responsible for doing our part with reasonable care. We are not liable for the condition of an as-is vehicle, for decisions of auction houses, carriers or government agencies, or for indirect losses. Our liability for any order is limited to the fees you paid us for that order, except where the law does not allow this limit.

9. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Florida. Questions: info@unsato.com or (727) 648-6738.
